* The oval Septarian pendant is simply yet securely wire wrapped with Antiqued Brass.
* The pendant is about 2 inches (5 cm) long and 1 inch (3 cm) wide.
* The front of the gemstone slice is polished to showcase its natural beauty and the back is its natural state.
* The pendant hangs from a black, 24-inch Suede lace. An additional 2-inches have been added for tying at the back of the neck.

ABOUT SEPTARIAN...
* The name Septarian comes from the Latin word " septum " meaning seven, or “ saeptum ” which means a wall or enclosure.
* Usually tri-coloured with mixed minerals that create patterns resembling tree branches, the stone can be composed of brown Aragonite, yellow Calcite and grey Limestone.
* They are estimated to have formed about 50 million years ago after periodic volcanic eruptions killed small sea life. The shells and carcasses of these creatures sank to the sea bed, where sediments accumulated around them to form nodules or balls of mud.
* When the mud balls dried out and began to shrink and crack, beautiful patterns inside the septarian nodules formed 7 different points, radiating in all directions.

* Practitioners who follow metaphysical properties believe that Septaria are strong conduits of Earth energy and help to make you feel connected to nature.
